Saturday Design Studio is a boutique graphic design studio led by Jemma Ortiger – designer, illustrator and visual storyteller.

The Great Aussie Outdoor Adventure Journal is a hands-on activity journal for Aussie kids aged 8-13, packed with over 50 exciting adventures, creative challenges, and reflective prompts designed to inspire curiosity, outdoor exploration, and self-expression. From seed planting and nature art to compass treasure hunts and code-cracking puzzles, The Great Outdoor Adventure Journal encourages kids to discover, create, and reflect while developing a deeper connection with the natural world. Whether they live in the city or the countryside, have five minutes or a whole day, young explorers can dive into screen-free activities that encourage outdoor play, creativity, and mindfulness.
Written and illustrated by Australian artist and designer Jemma Ortiger, the journal features vivid, hand-drawn illustrations that make each page visually exciting and immersive. The Great Outdoor Adventure Journal is packed with 57+ unique activities (no repeated pages) that cater to a range of interests and timeframes.
